Tas: Police hold concerns for missing man

HOBART, April 10 AAP - Tasmanian police hold grave concerns for the welfare of a 61-year-old
Launceston man who has not been seen by friends and family since early March.

Peter Francis Wells was last seen by a neighbour around 8.30pm (AEDT) on March 9.

He was reported missing to police by his friend and landlord on Sunday, March 16.

Mr Wells is on regular medication and without treatment his health is likely to deteriorate.

Police have conducted extensive searches of areas around Invermay, Heritage Forest
and central Launceston.

Mr Wells is 168cm tall, of slim build with shoulder length curly, grey and white hair.

He has blue eyes and a fair complexion.

Anyone with any information is urged to contact Launceston Police.
