MELBOURNE, Feb 28 AAP - An intruder infiltrated the Australian Grand Prix circuit overnightand shot at a security guard, police said.
A security guard told police she had disturbed a balaclava-clad intruder near the circuit'smedical centre about 3am (AEDT).
When she had challenged the intruder, she was fired at and the person had escaped acrossthe race track, police said.
Police were now searching the area.
